Guess What Happened At The Weekend….

NOP14 007So, last weekend was the Natural & Organic Europe Exhibition at the Olympia in London - and what a show it was (my feet can attest to that).   This exhibition is for trade only, so every imaginable type of natural and organic health business was represented, including G&G Vitamins.

There are various awards at the show, and G&G Vitamins entered the BestBest-HealthNutritionFinalist14 Health and Nutrition Product with their Organic EssentialFood with organic B vitamins. Out of the some 300 products that launched at the show the Organic EssentialFood which was voted for by the trade outlets and visitors that attended the exhibition,  was shortlisted, then nominated and were FINALISTS!

This is the third accolade that G&G’s Organic EssentialFood has won in the last few months. Awarded by vote an  Highly YHL AWARDS 2013 LOGO_HC_AWCommended by the consumer readers of Your Healthy Living Magazine and also gaining Janey Lee Grace Platinum Accreditation - this was just the cherry on the cake! Why is it….

…that 34% of people in the UK bypass breakfast even though we all agree it is the most important meal of the day.

iStock_000002910017Medium-test3It seems that a lot of us just cannot face food at that time of the morning,  whilst some of us are just in too much of a rush to spend more than 3 or 4 minutes on breakfast. Perhaps we feel there are more pressing things to do than eat breakfast.  In fact, we Brits are more likely to skip breakfast that many Europeans.

Many of us commute to work so it’s up, dressed and out the door and even if we do grab a bite we certainly don’t sit down to enjoy the meal; too busy getting ready.  Not really a leisurely meal to wake up to – more like stress and pressed for time.

The trouble is if we don’t have something for breakfast then the body finds it stockxpertcom_id400873_jpg_8cd93d0ef244fc60cc145caf54ad960cmore difficult to get going and maintaining high levels of activity – why?  No or insufficient fuel. There is a lot to be said for eating breakfast – the health benefits are numerous including being more alert and energetic, especially of your breakfast is not sugary or purely carbs.  Studies show that breakfast high in protein help the body to create a longer lasting energy that can really set you up for the day.

So what can you do?

Simply reading this blog does not magically create the time you need to make a breakfast that is high in protein and other energy-giving nutrients  - but here’s an idea that might just help…

How about if you had an energy-bursting option that will supplement your breakfast; that you can take with you and will only take you about a minute to prEF plus JLGepare?

Sound good?

Well G&G’s Organic EssentialFood with organic B vitamins  - recommended by Janey Lee Grace of Radio 2 fame and bestselling author of the book ‘Imperfectly You’, this product has the ‘Janey loves’ stamp of approval. janey-lee-grace-5630-print-1024x731

Added to  apple juice or smoothie or even add a banana,  mix it up; very handy if you are on the move – pop into your travel cup and away you go. It is pH friendly AND has only 69 calories per serving.
